Shepherds of Haven, Volume 1 (OST)
Album purchase happens on Bandcamp. You can also get this album through the Lifetime Bundle or Patreon.
So, I’ve been diving deep into Shepherds of Haven, and wow, it’s been a journey. This first volume has 15 tracks, and each one is inspired by the incredible universe Lena Nguyen has built—a mix of rebellion, ancient powers, and some seriously intense choices between light and darkness.
The game’s world is vast, with all these races like the Ket, Mages, Elves, and more, and it’s set in this huge continent with its own tensions and histories. I’ve tried to capture some of that richness and depth in the music—those echoes of old rituals, whispers of gods, and moments of hope amidst oppression.
Lena’s narrative really drew me in. The way she delves into themes like freedom, rebellion, and choice got my creative juices flowing. And while the game has its dark moments (watch out for those Inquisitors!), there’s also a lot of heart and camaraderie.
I’m excited for you all to hear “Shepherds of Haven Volume 1.” It’s a bit of my journey into Lena’s world, and I hope it resonates with you as much as the game and story do with me.
If you enjoy this kind of soundtrack writing, I keep more examples of music shaped around fictional worlds in the worldbuilding music hub.

Common Questions
Licensing & Usage FAQ
Everything you need to know before using my music in your projects.
- Is the music totally free?
- Yes — free tracks are tagged as free and yours to use as long as you credit me as the composer. Check the license info page for proper attribution details.
- How do I credit you?
- Simply name Ivan Duch as the composer wherever the music is used — in video descriptions, credits screens, show notes, etc. Full attribution guide here.
- What is royalty-free music?
- Royalty-free means you pay once (or in this case, just credit me) for a license to use the music — not on a per-use basis. You're free to use it across multiple projects.
- What rights do I get?
- A non-exclusive license to use the music in your projects. You may not redistribute or sell the tracks as standalone audio files or albums.
- What are Stems?
- Stems are individual instrument tracks (brass, woodwinds, percussion, etc.) from a song. They let you mix the music to fit your scene. Stems are available for Patrons.
- Do you offer exclusive licenses?
- Yes. If you need original, exclusive music for a film, game, or other project, visit the commissions page. Terms can be tailored to your project's needs.
- Can I use the music without crediting you?
- Attribution is required on every license — credit Ivan Duch as the composer wherever attribution is possible. The only exception is media where attribution isn’t practical (live podcasts, live events), where it may be omitted. Contact me if you need a special arrangement.
- Is there a written license?
- Yes — you can find the full written license on the licensing page. It protects you if someone ever falsely claims the music. See the copyright page for more.
