Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

My website address is https://ivanduch.com. I’m Ivan Duch, a composer based in Argentina. This page explains what data this site collects, what it doesn’t, and why.

The short version: I don’t run any tracking or advertising. I removed Google Analytics in May 2026. Facebook Pixel and Google Ads were used in the past but are no longer active on this site. This site is as clean as I can keep it.

What I Collect and Why

Contact and newsletter forms

If you sign up for my newsletter or use a contact form, I collect your email address and any name you provide. This goes through MailRelay, my email service provider. I use it to send you updates, new releases, and occasional announcements — nothing more. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

MailRelay may process your data on servers outside your country. I’ve agreed to their terms of service accordingly.

Account login (Patreon and lifetime bundle holders)

If you connect your Patreon account or verify access to the lifetime bundle, a session cookie called ivd_bundle_session is stored in your browser. This cookie keeps you logged in for up to 7 days so you don’t have to re-verify every visit. It contains no personal information beyond a secure token that proves your access level.

This is a technical cookie — it’s strictly necessary for the login system to work, and it’s set only when you log in.

Patreon login via OAuth

When you connect via Patreon, you’re redirected to Patreon’s own login page. I receive a confirmation of your tier level from Patreon’s API — I don’t receive your Patreon password or payment details. Patreon’s own privacy policy applies to everything that happens on their side.

Ko-fi purchases

If you buy the lifetime bundle through Ko-fi, Ko-fi sends me a webhook notification confirming the purchase. I receive your email address to grant you access. Ko-fi’s own privacy policy applies to the checkout process.

Third-Party Services Embedded on This Site

Bandcamp

Song and album previews on this site use Bandcamp iframes. When a Bandcamp player loads, Bandcamp may set cookies in your browser according to their own privacy policy. I have no control over those cookies. If you’re not logged into Bandcamp, their cookies are typically limited to player preferences.

Fonts and icons

All fonts and icons are self-hosted on this server. No requests are made to Google Fonts, FontAwesome, or any other external font or icon CDN.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Some forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection — it’s the privacy-respecting alternative to reCAPTCHA that doesn’t require you to click traffic lights. Cloudflare may process limited request data. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

What I Don’t Do

  • No Google Analytics. Removed in May 2026. I use Google Search Console for basic SEO data, which doesn’t involve tracking cookies or your browser.
  • No ad tracking. Facebook Pixel and Google Ads were used in the past but are no longer active. No remarketing or advertising network is currently running on this site.
  • No selling your data. I don’t share your information with anyone beyond the service providers listed above, and only to the extent needed to run the site.
  • No profiling. I don’t build behavioral profiles or track you across other websites.

No other cookies are set by this site. Third-party CDNs (Google Fonts, FontAwesome) may log requests server-side but typically do not set persistent cookies in your browser.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to request a copy of the data I hold about you, ask me to delete it, or correct inaccurate information. To exercise any of these rights, contact me at [email protected].

If you’ve subscribed to the newsletter, the fastest way to remove your data is to unsubscribe via the link in any email.
