About this track

About Facing Demons

Embark on a dark and thrilling journey with The Hounds of Hübschdorf Soundtrack, a collaborative effort with the award-winning fantasy audio drama creators at Audio Epics.

This album brings to life an action-packed scene featuring Ludlov, the Witch Hunter, one of Audio Epics’ most beloved characters, as he faces off against some truly hellish creatures. Inspired by the iconic fantasy soundtracks of the 1980s—an era that shaped Eline, Domien and me—we’ve infused this score with a nostalgic yet dynamic aesthetic, evoking the spirit of that golden age of adventure.

Based in Flanders, Belgium, Audio Epics is the brainchild of husband-and-wife duo Domien De Groot and Eline Hoskens, who share a deep love for storytelling, fantasy, and the timeless works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Their immersive audio dramas and dramatized audiobooks transport listeners to strange and wonderful places, brought to life by talented voice actors, original music, and rich soundscapes.

Whether you’re a fan of 80s-inspired fantasy, epic soundtracks, or compelling storytelling, this album is a must-listen. Prepare to lose yourself in a world of witch hunters, demonic foes, and heart-pounding heroism!

Common Questions

Licensing & Usage FAQ

Everything you need to know before using my music in your projects.

Is the music totally free?
Yes — free tracks are tagged as free and yours to use as long as you credit me as the composer. Check the license info page for proper attribution details.
How do I credit you?
Simply name Ivan Duch as the composer wherever the music is used — in video descriptions, credits screens, show notes, etc. Full attribution guide here.
What is royalty-free music?
Royalty-free means you pay once (or in this case, just credit me) for a license to use the music — not on a per-use basis. You're free to use it across multiple projects.
What rights do I get?
A non-exclusive license to use the music in your projects. You may not redistribute or sell the tracks as standalone audio files or albums.
What are Stems?
Stems are individual instrument tracks (brass, woodwinds, percussion, etc.) from a song. They let you mix the music to fit your scene. Stems are available for Patrons.
Do you offer exclusive licenses?
Yes. If you need original, exclusive music for a film, game, or other project, visit the commissions page. Terms can be tailored to your project's needs.
Can I use the music without crediting you?
Attribution is required on every license — credit Ivan Duch as the composer wherever attribution is possible. The only exception is media where attribution isn’t practical (live podcasts, live events), where it may be omitted. Contact me if you need a special arrangement.
Is there a written license?
Yes — you can find the full written license on the licensing page. It protects you if someone ever falsely claims the music. See the copyright page for more.
