About The Astromagus
Some stories don’t just ask to be told — they ask to be felt. Radiant Hearts Academy is one of those stories.
This album was born from a collaboration at the heart of my Storytellers initiative on Patreon: a collaboration with storytellers from around the globe.
For this album I partnered with Suann (The Geekstress), a storyteller, game master, and world-builder with nearly 30 years of gaming in her bones. Her creation, Radiant Hearts, is an original Pathfinder 2e adventure that leans heavy on roleplay and collaborative storytelling. Nurture friendships and romances or stamp out rivals. Alliances, clever thinking, and taking chances are key to survival in this adventure of high magic and mystery.
What makes this album especially close to my heart is how it was recorded and produced. Rather than relying solely on virtual instruments, I had the privilege of working with real string players who brought warmth, breath, and humanity to these scores — the kind of texture you can only get from living, feeling musicians drawing a bow across strings. You’ll hear it in the swell of an emotional reunion, in the tension of a corridor walked too quietly, in the tenderness of a friendship still finding its shape.
The result is something I’m deeply proud of: music built to hold Suann’s world, and the worlds of everyone who sits down at her table.
Illustrations woven through this project are the work of the talented Sliph.

Common Questions
Licensing & Usage FAQ
Everything you need to know before using my music in your projects.
- Is the music totally free?
- Yes — free tracks are tagged as free and yours to use as long as you credit me as the composer. Check the license info page for proper attribution details.
- How do I credit you?
- Simply name Ivan Duch as the composer wherever the music is used — in video descriptions, credits screens, show notes, etc. Full attribution guide here.
- What is royalty-free music?
- Royalty-free means you pay once (or in this case, just credit me) for a license to use the music — not on a per-use basis. You're free to use it across multiple projects.
- What rights do I get?
- A non-exclusive license to use the music in your projects. You may not redistribute or sell the tracks as standalone audio files or albums.
- What are Stems?
- Stems are individual instrument tracks (brass, woodwinds, percussion, etc.) from a song. They let you mix the music to fit your scene. Stems are available for Patrons.
- Do you offer exclusive licenses?
- Yes. If you need original, exclusive music for a film, game, or other project, visit the commissions page. Terms can be tailored to your project's needs.
- Can I use the music without crediting you?
- Attribution is required on every license — credit Ivan Duch as the composer wherever attribution is possible. The only exception is media where attribution isn’t practical (live podcasts, live events), where it may be omitted. Contact me if you need a special arrangement.
- Is there a written license?
- Yes — you can find the full written license on the licensing page. It protects you if someone ever falsely claims the music. See the copyright page for more.
