Commissions Guidelines

Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required upfront to begin the commission.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the final piece.
  • Payments can be made via PayPal, Cryptocurrencies or ACH Bank Transfer.

Revisions

Each non-exclusive license commission includes:

  • 1 Major Revision: A major revision includes substantial changes to the composition, such as:
    • Altering the overall structure (e.g., extending, shortening, or rearranging sections).Changing the mood or tone significantly (e.g., shifting from dark and ominous to uplifting).Replacing or rewriting instrumentation in a way that affects the core musical identity.Adjusting the tempo or time signature.Any request requiring more than 30 minutes of work will likely be considered a major revision.
    Additional major revisions beyond one are subject to a fee.
  • 2 Minor Revisions: Minor revisions include small adjustments, such as:
    • Volume balancing or mixing tweaks.Timing adjustments for individual instruments.Swapping out or slightly modifying a single instrument without affecting the structure.Other simple modifications that require under 30 minutes of work.
    Additional minor revisions are also subject to a fee.

Non-Exclusive License

  • Non-exclusive licenses allow me to publish the commissioned music in my library for others to use in their projects.
  • The client retains the right to use the commissioned track as agreed, but it will not be exclusive to their project.

Exclusive License

  • Exclusive licenses allow me to publish the commissioned music only to music stores and for listening purposes.
  • The client retains the right to use the commissioned track as agreed.

Full Rights

  • Full Rights grants the commissioner all rights to the music except for copyright. Meaning, they can distribute it, sell it themselves, and full commercial rights.
