About Beneath Ground

Excerpt from Aaron’s diary:

The perception of the hunt goes by the old one: what’s normal to the spider, it’s chaos to the fly. I feel the same way, crawling through the shoulder-wide tunnels with unknown slime slithering on my neck. If my information is correct, the lair is near.

The problem is, I don’t believe in vampires. I did encounter the spawns and other infected creatures, but the intelligent vampire overlord? My doubt fights the reason, and it’s winning. It’s always either the crazed noble or some mage at play.

Yet, Grizkh’s senses are impeccable, and he is seldom wrong. What if the vampire overlord exists and we are not the spiders in this story? Hey everyone,

I’ve got some exciting news to share! My latest collaboration is with the amazing Mikwewa, who’s created a truly incredible new map - the Vampire Lair. This atmospheric piece beautifully intertwines natural caves and man-made dungeon elements, and let me tell you, it’s ripe for an epic boss fight.

As part of our collab, I’ve composed a new track, Beneath Ground, to accompany this eerie and sinister lair. Focused primarily on haunting strings and ominous ambient synths, this composition truly encapsulates the feeling of creeping slowly through narrow tunnels, with the unsettling sensation of unknown slime slithering on your neck.

Together, the map and the music tell a gripping tale of an unconventional vampire hunt, as detailed in Aaron’s diary. Is it just another mad noble or mage at play? Or could there be a genuine vampire overlord lurking in the shadows?

Our collaborations have always been about creating an immersive experience, and this one, like every other, stands up to that promise. As always, looking forward to hearing your thoughts and seeing how you all bring this story to life in your games! 🎶🧛‍♂️🗺️

Common Questions

Licensing & Usage FAQ

Everything you need to know before using my music in your projects.

Is the music totally free?
Yes — free tracks are tagged as free and yours to use as long as you credit me as the composer. Check the license info page for proper attribution details.
How do I credit you?
Simply name Ivan Duch as the composer wherever the music is used — in video descriptions, credits screens, show notes, etc. Full attribution guide here.
What is royalty-free music?
Royalty-free means you pay once (or in this case, just credit me) for a license to use the music — not on a per-use basis. You're free to use it across multiple projects.
What rights do I get?
A non-exclusive license to use the music in your projects. You may not redistribute or sell the tracks as standalone audio files or albums.
What are Stems?
Stems are individual instrument tracks (brass, woodwinds, percussion, etc.) from a song. They let you mix the music to fit your scene. Stems are available for Patrons.
Do you offer exclusive licenses?
Yes. If you need original, exclusive music for a film, game, or other project, visit the commissions page. Terms can be tailored to your project's needs.
Can I use the music without crediting you?
Attribution is required on every license — credit Ivan Duch as the composer wherever attribution is possible. The only exception is media where attribution isn’t practical (live podcasts, live events), where it may be omitted. Contact me if you need a special arrangement.
Is there a written license?
Yes — you can find the full written license on the licensing page. It protects you if someone ever falsely claims the music. See the copyright page for more.
